Your data
Take a copy, or remove everything.
Take everything with you
Every bubble has Take a complete copy. You can open each of these without Bubbles:
- Data — Structured — imports back into bubble.
- Document — Plain text, opens anywhere.
- Page — A page, plus any photos it shows.
- Site — A folder that browses with no app at all.
What erase removes
Delete everything, in You, under Privacy and your data, removes everything Bubbles has stored here: your workspace, your settings, this device’s identity and every bubble on it. It tells you what it removed. The full list is on Cookies and local storage.
What erase can’t reach
- A copy you already downloaded. It’s a file on your device, and it’s yours.
- A bubble you shared stays on the devices of the people you shared it with.
- Shared changes on our relay. They’re encrypted, and we can’t read them.
How long that lasts
On your device, erasing is immediate.
The relay keeps shared changes for up to 45 days after the last update to a bubble, then deletes them. They can go sooner if a bubble runs out of space. This doesn’t delete copies on anyone’s device, and the relay isn’t a backup.
